The little village of Crossakiel in County Meath plays host to the annual Kells road races each July. Like all Irish National Road Races, Kells is extremely popular and attracts large numbers of spectators who come to see the spectacular sights of Man and Machine defying gravity as they tackle the jumps that this circuit has quite rightly become famous for.

Bush Road Races

 

2011 celebrates the 17th Kells Road Races. Over the years, many heroes of road racing have competed at the Kells Road Races including Joey Dunlop, Martin Finnegan, Ryan Farquhar, Keith Amor, Cameron Donald and many more.

 

The iconic jumps at the Crossakiel circuit are a firm favourite with photographers and fans alike and a warm welcome is guaranteed at Crossakiel.
